Fripp Island Amenities:

There are two championship golf courses on Fripp: "George Cobb" at Ocean Point Golf Links;  and Ocean Creek Golf Course - PGA Champion "Davis Love III's"  first signature course which has been named "one of the top 10 new courses you can play"  by Golf Magazine and was selected for a similar top 10 design honor by "The Golfer".
There is a good reason. Fripp Island's newest course is lovingly carved from land so exotic that it was used as a movie setting for scenes in both Forrest Gump and Disney's The Jungle Book. a Racquet Club, Fripp has  10 tennis courts; and 5 restaurants including The Beach Club, complete with formal and informal dining, two swimming pools, game room, fitness center and a village of shops; The Cabana Club, featuring casual and fine dining (planned), two pools including one with caves and waterfalls, a kid’s pool, Jacuzzi and lounge chairs; miles of nature and biking and jogging trails; Camp Fripp, which provides supervised recreational and nature activities for kids ages 3-14; and a marina. Nearby Harbor Island offers a Beach & Racquet Club.

Fripp Island has six pools located throughout the island.  whether you're a baby or a Baby Boomer you can find the pool that is just right for you. Our most popular poolside escape can be found in Ocean Creek.  Ocean Creek includes our acclaimed Davis Love III golf course, plus a $2 million Cabana Club complex with stunning seaside poolscapes. 
                

Marina Activities:

Charter boats may be arranged at the Marina Store (843-838-1517) or by calling Fripp Island Excursions  (843-838-1518). Details can be obtained on Fripp Island TV, channel 7.
Wet and dry storage is available at the Marina, as are other services for boat owners. For details, fee information, etc., call the Marina Store.

Fishing, crabbing, and shrimping are allowed in all salt water areas off Fripp Island. These are popular recreational activities on the island that do not require a permit or license as long as what you catch is used for personal consumption only. However, you are required to have a permit or license when any of the activities listed above are conducted from a boat. Please note that oyster and clam gathering should be done in designated areas only because, regulations change frequently. Consult the Marina for the latest information.
